A code means little until it is shared. On 9 September 2026 in Mumbai, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles unveiled the Jawa All Stars 42 OG — Strike Three, the motorcycle that completes the Jawa All Stars range.
The Jawa 42 OG is the motorcycle that established the modern classic category in India, and this is the biggest evolution it has been given: more than 60 enhancements to stance, proportions, rear section, alloy wheels, side panels and exhaust. The flagship has not been replaced. It has been asked a harder question — what should the 42 mean to the rider of today?
Strike Three: The Code Completes Its Range
Jawa All Stars is a shared code of character, conduct and courage, and the insignia now runs across three motorcycles. Strike One, the Jawa All Stars 42 FJ, brought a contemporary, sportier expression to the brand’s modern classic character. Strike Two saw the Jawa All Stars 42 Bobber unveiled at the Global Chess League, celebrating individuality through one of Jawa’s most distinctive formats. Strike Three brings the Jawa All Stars 42 OG.
Three motorcycles. Three Characters. One code. The Bobber is the individualist, the 42 FJ - the sporting interpretation, and the 42 OG — carrying the evolution forward and drawing the three together under a single identity.
The Jawa 42 OG began the brand’s modern-day journey in 2018 with India’s first modern classic range, a distinctive off-centre instrument panel and colourways that broke through the clutter. Eight years on, the question was not whether to keep it, but what to keep.
Over 60 Enhancements: What Has Changed
The All Stars 42 is bolder, sportier and more muscular, and the changes are structural rather than cosmetic. The rear section has been substantially reworked with a wider fender and a new 150/70-17 rear tyre, giving a broader footprint and greater road presence. A new alloy wheel design reduces mass and rotational inertia, making handling lighter and braking more responsive. A more compact upswept twin exhaust improves water-wading ability, while reworked side panels, footpegs and rear section pull the form tighter, with cleaner, flowing lines.
The work extends beyond what is visible. Mass, frame and swingarm stiffness, ergonomics, handling and comfort have each been addressed, with the aim of making the evolved 42 OG more agile and controlled without losing the approachable character that has always defined it. At its centre is the J-Panther engine: a 294.7 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled DOHC unit with electronic fuel injection and a constant-mesh six-speed gearbox, carried on a double-cradle frame with dual-channel ABS and 280 mm front and 240 mm rear discs.
The 795 mm sculpted seat gains cushioning while keeping its bench profile, wider tyres at both ends improve grip and stability, and 173 mm of ground clearance carries the motorcycle across surfaces that punish lower machines. What has not changed is what made it recognisable: the signature 13.2-litre tank, the round headlamp and the characteristic flat bench seat all continue.

Character, Conduct, Courage
The All Stars story began with the Jawa rider — confident and individualistic, yet holding a strong sense of belonging with people who live by the same code. It is a code familiar to communities from defence to sport, where discipline, trust and respect for the individual coexist with a larger sense of purpose.
Character is the standard a rider holds. Conduct is that standard kept when nobody is checking. Courage is going further not for recognition or validation, but because that is who you are. Alongside the 42 FJ and the 42 Bobber, the All Stars 42 OG completes a range in which three distinct expressions of Jawa are held together by one shared code.
Ownership, Held to the Same Standard
A motorcycle chosen for the long road deserves support that lasts as long. The Ownership Assurance Program continues with a four-year or 50,000 km standard warranty, extendable to six years, roadside assistance available for up to eight years and annual maintenance cover for up to five, across more than 450 sales and service touchpoints nationwide. To judge the evolved ergonomics for yourself, book a test ride at a Jawa Yezdi dealership.
